Pontiac “Hustle In The Park” Active Family Event Aug. 22
(event listing)
The Healthy Pontiac, We Can Coalition (HPWC) and the Friends of the Pontiac Parks Association are encouraging families to get active at the 3rd annual Hustle in the Park event at Beaudette Park on Saturday, August 22, from 12 to 4pm. This free event is for people of all ages and includes fitness activities, such as Hustle dance lessons, inflatable games, and more.
“Hustle in the Park offers Pontiac residents a fitness-focused event where the whole family can enjoy being active together,” said Kathy Forzley, Oakland County Health Division manager/health officer. “Highlighting fun ways to be active in local parks encourages residents to make physical fitness a family affair.”
This community health event is made possible by a grant Oakland County Health Division received from the Michigan Department of Community Health.
Beaudette Park is located at 786 Orchard Lake Road, commonly known as “The Millldam” in Pontiac. For more information on HPWC, visit www.healthypontiac.org or find them on Facebook and Twitter @HealthyPontiac.
