The Oakland County Republican Party (OCRP) is proud to announce the keynote speaker for the 126th Annual Lincoln Day Dinner, Governor Scott Walker. The 126th Annual Lincoln Day Dinner will be held at the Suburban Collection Showplace on Monday, May 4, 2015 at 7:00 pm.

“Governor Walker brings a strong conservative message to the voters and shares a positive future for our county.” OCRP Chair, Theresa Mungioli stated.

Governor Walker proposed bold reforms that eliminated Wisconsin’s $3.6 billion budget deficit and gave local schools and local governments the resources needed to balance their budgets without Ferndale 115_FFLthe massive layoffs seen in other states, all without raising taxes on the citizens of Wisconsin. Mungioli added, “Governor Walker’s leadership has been demonstrated by the progress he has made in Wisconsin.”

OCRP is also pleased to announce that Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard is the Lincoln Dinner Chair. Ian Barber, OCRP Executive Director is quoted to say, “Mike brings a vast knowledge of Republican politics and strong organizational leadership. We look forward to having him involved in planning the event.”

The Oakland County Lincoln Day Dinner is the longest running Lincoln Day Dinner in the nation, and it is where Republicans and grassroots activists get together and help support the county party. Past speakers have included: Rand Paul, Donald Trump, and Rick Santorum to new way 03 honky tonkname a few.
