Join the Royal Oak Police Department and the Crime Prevention Council at 6:30 p.m. on April 14 for a presentation titled ‘How to Avoid Phone & Mail Scams.’ Donald Ferguson, from Attorney General Bill Schuette’s office, will provide tips on how to reduce incoming phone calls and junk mail and offer instructions on how to report a problem or scam.

In addition, Lt. Mike Frazier, of the Royal Oak Police Department, will discuss current crime trends and local information.
