Ferndale Police Seek Robbery Suspect from Dating Website
(Ferndale Police Report, Dec. 20, 2014)
On 12/09/14 at about 7:30 p.m, a 64 year old man staying at the Motorama Motel (100 W. 8 Mile) reported that he was robbed by a person that he met on a dating website for men seeking men. The website was “adam4adam”. The victim reported that he met his assailant about one month ago and has had an ongoing sexual relationship during this time. The suspect gave his name as DEONTE TAYLOR, 23 YEARS OLD. After their encounter on 12/09, the victim said Taylor asked him for money for a bus ride home. When the victim refused to give him the amount he asked for, the suspect knocked the victim to the ground and forcefully took cash from the victim’s pockets.
