Michigan Senior Olympics (MSO) will be hosting the 35th Anniversary of the summer games August 6-17 & 23-24, 2014 at various locations throughout Oakland County.  Registration deadline is July 16th.

Men and women, 50+ compete in events including archery, badminton, basketball, billiards, bocce ball, bowling, cycling, dancesport, fishing, geocaching, horseshoes, kayaking, 5K, 10K, Pickleball, racewalk, seed09_jeannie_davisracquetball, shuffleboard, softball, swimming, table tennis, tennis, triathlon, volleyball, powerlifting, and track & field.

Michigan Senior Olympics is a non-profit organization that promotes healthy lifestyles by organizing state games, sports competitions, and health, fitness, nutrition and wellness programs for active people age 50 and over. Volunteers are needed to help run the games and there are many positions that need to be filled. There are also sponsorship opportunities that can be customized to best suit yourgallowaycollens1 needs. Contact the MSO Office to find out more about sponsoring the summer games.

The Opening Ceremony will take place on Friday, August 8th at 7pm in the Rochester Municipal Park. This event is open to the public. The event will include FREE ice cream, music, and so much more!!! MSO Honorary Chair and NFL Hall of Famer, Charlie Sanders, will also be making an appearance. Bring the family and come support the athletes.
