Oak Park Woman’s Car Repeatedly Rammed, Boyfriend Arrested for Assault in Commerce Twp.

INCIDENT: 04:45 Hrs. July 13– Commerce Township – Felonious Assault with Motor Vehicle#14-108269
SUMMARY: Deputies responded to the 1700 block of Haggerty Road (Meijer’s) for an assault in progress. Upon arrival, Deputies made contact with the victim who reported her boyfriend followed her from her residence in Detroit and began bumping her vehicle’s rear bumper with his vehicle while driving. He continued to hit the rear of her vehicle while driving on M-5 in Commerce Township. Upon arrival at Meijer, the Suspect hit her vehicle in the parking lot and boxed her in. The victim stated that the suspect hit her vehicle at least 10 times during the incident.
OUTCOME OF INCIDENT: There were no injuries reported and there was minor damage to both vehicles. The suspect was arrested and lodged at OCJ for Felonious Assault with a Motor Vehicle.
VICTIM, SUSPECT or ARRESTEE INFORMATION: (Victim): 35 year old, Resident of Oak Park. (Arrestee): 42 year old, Resident of Detroit.
