27th District State Rep. Candidates Face off in their First Forum (video)

Candidates for the 27th State House Seat faced off in their first forum on Wednesday night, thanks to the League of Women Voters. The District covers Berkley, Ferndale, Hazel Park, Huntington Woods, Oak Park, Pleasant Ridge and Royal Oak Township.
Republican Mark Manier did attend. Republican Michael Ryan spoke, as well as the following Democrats: Andrew Robert Cissell (candidate questions) , Joe McHugh (candidate questions), Rudy Serra (candidate questions), Kelli Williams, and Robert Wittenberg (candidate questions).
Topics included marijuana, education, guns, taxes, healthcare, and more. Candidates were also asked what the most recent book they read was, a question that got several interesting responses.
