The Detroit Symphony Orchestra will be giving special performances based on feedback from the community. In Oakland County, Clarkston, Clawson, Lake Orion and Royal Oak have schools in the running.

DTE Energy Foundation Presents the DSO in Your Community has been taking music to diverse and often jennifer sandler bowen reflexologyunderserved communities throughout Southeast Michigan for the last 4 years.

“We are so grateful to DTE Energy Foundation and their passion for a shared vision to provide access to the DSO for our entire community.  We hope bringing back this open nomination process will help bring new audiences into closer contact with unique, inspiring musical experiences,” said Anne Parsons, DSO President and CEO.

Voting ends on Sunday, June 22 at 11:59 PM. Nominees selected to host free DSO community concerts will be announced on Tuesday, July 1.
