The Clawson Chamber of Commerce and the residents of Clawson are pleased to announce the 9th annual CLAWS & PAWS which combines a 2 Mile Run/Walk Dog Jog with a Pet Care Fair and Animal Adoption program. tRunners, animal lovers, and kids are all welcome to attend and participate in the event which begins at 10:00am on June 7.

EVERYONE is welcome to register for the 2 Mile walk/jog whether you have a four legged friend to walk or run with or not. For those that don’t want to walk, come by and join us for the other activities and just enjoy the day!. All walkers/joggers must register.

You can find a copy of the registration here at this site, at Clawson City Hall, by calling any of the contact numbers found under “CONTACT US”, or at the seed07_cindy_peltonenregistration booth the day of the run.

Registration is: $20 per person in advance includes a free event t-shirt. $25 the day of the event – free event t-shirt while supplies last. The day of the event: Sign in starts at the Clawson Park Pavilion from 10 – 10:45 a.m. The Walk/Jog will kick off at 11 a.m. Pavilion is located N. of Elmwood, (14 1/2 mile) between Crooks and Main St. or if coming across 14, N. on Custer to the park or off 15 Mile, S on Custer to the park.)

Following the Walk/Jog, there will be Hot dogs, snacks & water for all participants at the sidebar016growfinish line and lots of additional activities and vendor booths.

Clawson is located in the center of Birmingham, Royal Oak, and Troy, about one mile west of I-75. Clawson combines small town amenities with convenient access to all of Metro Detroit’s big city events. Clawson City Park, in the heart of southeast Oakland County, will host CLAWS & PAWS 2013 which will combine a 2 Mile Run/Dog Jog/Walk (11 a.m.) with a Pet Care Fair/Animal Adoption (10 a.m. – 4 p.m.) Runners, animal lovers, and kids are all welcome to attend and participate. lori davis adPet Adoptions Pet Micro Chips Pet Care Prizes Games Vendor Displays / Supplies FUN! Guardians for Animals is dedicated to helping rescues, and sanctuaries save the lives of abandoned, abused, and neglected animals.
