Jewish Fund Grant Helps FernCare Expand Services
(FernCare Press Release, March 23, 2014)
FernCare received $21,000 in recognition of the need of people in Ferndale and surrounding communities for health care services. This grant is spread over three years. The services will be offered through FernCare and will be free to patients.
FernCare will use the grant to expand the preventative care programs within FernCare and possibly open another medical clinic session. The mission of FernCare is to provide no-cost medical care to the medically uninsured residents of the area.
The Jewish Fund has a fine tradition and mandate of supporting health related projects. We at FernCare are honored to be one of the organizations they choose to support.
