Clothing Swap at Loving Touch in Ferndale to Benefit JFK PTA March 9Street-Eatzz-Ad

(Loving Touch Press Release, March 5, 2014)

A clothing swap is a great way to liven up a winter wardrobe, help kids and have a fun night in the process.  Guests bring currently fashionable, new or slightly used ladies clothing, accessories, shoes, purses, jewelry, beltsDDAsample01 (no undergarments please) to The Loving Touch on Sunday, March 9th.  Friendly volunteers will arrange and sort the donations while guests indulge in desserts by local restaurants, drink specials and receive free mini spa services.  Guests are then able to shop the clothing donations and take home whatever suits them for free!  It’s a wonderful way to add items to your closet in a green fashion, without losing a bunch of green from your wallet.  All leftover items are donated to a local women’s shelter.

There is a $20 cover charge and a minimum of 5 fashionable clothing items are needed to enter the swap.  All door funds go to JFK Elementary School’s PTA.

Free mini services have been generously donated by local businesses including sidebar01reader_supporteyebrow threading and nail polish changes by Rouge MakeUp and Nail Studio, chair massages by Birmingham Wellness Center, henna hand art by Alchemy and hair by Salon Rehe. Delicious desserts are provided by Pinwheel Bakery and Treat Dreams.  Psychic Readings by Boston Tearoom are available for a nominal fee.

The event will be held at The Loving Touch (22634 Woodward) in Ferndale on Sunday, March 9 from 5pm-8pm.  Clothing drop off is from 5-6pm.  Shopping will start at 6:30pm sharp.  This is a ladies only, 21 and over event.  Anyone with questions can contact Krista Johnston at krista@thewabsite.com.
