Celebrating reading and literature’s ability to inspire, “For the Love of Reading, Volume 2” is an art exhibition at the Ferndale Public Library, running from Monday, March 3 – Saturday, April 12. Artworks drawn from beloved stories, depictions of engrossed readers and portraits of favorite authors will be on exhibit. “

The reception will take place on Thursday, March 6 from 7-9pm.

Books transport us to other worlds, elevate our ideas and spark our imaginations. Ferndale Public Library’s nicholas-schrock-allstatelatest exhibition “For The Love of Reading” commemorates the relationship of reader to tome and the timeless stories carried in their pages.

Artists include:
Shanta Ambady, Pamela Day, Ghosty, Lisa L. Grix, Diane Irby
Peggy Kerwan, P. Mari, Juana Moore, Sarah Previch, Mike Ross,
Stella Isis Rothe and Jerry Shirts
