The Ferndale Blues and Music Festival is under way, with the first two nights of live bands drawing fantastic crowds to several local bars including Rosie O’Grady’s, Dino’s Lounge, Howe’s Bayou, One-Eyed Betty’s, Sneaker’s, Bosco and Boogie Fever.  The fun continues through Feb. 1, including the iconic Rib HowesLocationBurn Off event which takes places Feb. 1 in the parking lot behind Dino’s Lounge.

The festival raises money for Ferndale Youth Assistance and Michigan AIDS Coalition.  Concerts take place at multiple venues, giving visitors a buffet of blues and music to chose from and a chance to check out many local bars and restaurants.  For a complete schedule and more information go to http://www.ferndalebluesfestival.org.
