Royal Oak’s Holiday Magic Parade Brings Communities Together (video)

The Royal Oak Holiday Magic Parade brought people from all over SE Michigan together for an afternoon of fun. Students from Southfield, Ferndale, Royal Oak and Detroit marched in the parade. Many community groups did as well, including Brownie Troops, Shriners, Elks and Stagecrafters. The Detroit Pistons and The Detroit Tigers had mascots on hand and McGruff the Crime Dog was there too. The guests of honor though were Santa and Mrs. Claus, who rode through Downtown Royal Oak on a grand float led by a pair of genuine reindeer.
