Another Year to Shop About!

Yes, it has been 15 years, since The Ridge Fine Art & Handmade Wares Show was born! And it is still the place to start or finish your Holiday shopping! This isn’t your ordinary art fair, but one that focuses on quality not quantity when it comes to vendors. The continued vision is to attract a community of artists to share their talent and dedicated customers who really appreciate and support art. The upbeat nature of the show and focus on Michigan artists, buying handmade and keeping the money at home, makes it win-win for everyone involved.

Customers are encouraged to vote for their favorite artist for a “People’s Choice” award. The winner receives a cash prize and invitation to show again the next year, while the people who vote get a chance to receive one sharon chess thank youof the many donated handmade items. There are light snacks to sample as shoppers stroll about and plenty of free parking.

The event is kept fresh and interesting each year by rotating in new artists while maintaining a nice balance of mediums. Some artists are veterans to the art scene, while others are just starting out.

Again, don’t miss the opportunity to support local talent and find amazing unique gift items. You are invited to the Drayton Avenue Presbyterian Church to see for yourself the creative displays and wares that make this venue a little gem not to be missed. Grab a friend or two and share the fun!
