A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle on Woodward Avenue at College on Tuesday morning. The accident took place at approximately 8:45 a.m.

The accident took place in front of Tim Hortons, with customers and employees watching. Employees later in the day were briefed on the situation.  “A woman was crossing Woodward and she got hit and was killed.  It was a crime scene.  They taped it off and marked the ground where her body was. My boss said it was terrible.  I can’t even imagine,” said an unidentified employee.

The markings remain on the pavement, circles labeled A-J identifying places where the woman’s body and belongings were found by police who arrived at the scene.
