(DDA, June 18, 2013)

Put a bunch of creative people in a room and they will, indeed, come up with an event that requires your attendance. Discover what the ARTWN 2013 committee has come up with for Year Two of the ARTWN Legacy and save the June 21 date as a night to remember. The event will, once again, be held at The Rust Belt Market. Thank You to Level One Bank for coming on board as an Auction Party Partner!

The evening is built around the Ferndale DDA’s mantra of  “Change is Good” to include:

~A new (and much lower) ticket price of $20

~A new repurpose of expired parking meters, reimagined by artists into art pieces you’ll want to (and can) buy

Some elements of this fundraiser for public art in Downtown Ferndale remain the same. There will be f115adFUNDINGgreat food, fabulous beverages and music you can dance to. It will, again, be a celebration of ARTWN – the Exhibit and focus on the Ferndale DDA’s efforts to raise money to add to its permanent public art collection with the purchase of TWO sculptures. Those who purchase tickets will have a chance to be agents of change by voting for their favorite sculpture at The Event. Each ticket includes a chance to win 1 year of FREE parking in Downtown Ferndale. All attendees will have a chance to purchase art and other cool stuff at a silent auction and take part in a livWebsite Home Page ARTWN 2013 Revisede auction of the re-purposed meters.

The ARTWN Event committee is headed by Veronica Lujic and includes Jacquelyn Cutright and Daneil Behnke of Elegance by Design and Nicole Rafaiil of State of the Art Framing & Gallery.
