The Great Cloth Diaper Change 2013baby01

(C. Proxmire, April 21, 2013)

Thirty five babies and their parents gathered at Modern Natural Baby on April 20 for a mass cloth diaper change in an attempt to break the Guinness Book of World Record’s current record.  Thousands of babies around the country all got changed at 11am as part of the attempt.  The stunt not only gives the families something fun to be part of, it helps raise awareness about the benefits of cloth diapers.

To compliment the event, Modern Natural Baby created a display showing how many disposable diapers get used in a year, compared to a baby who uses cloth.  The City of Ferndale also recognized cloth diaper day by official city proclamation.  Councilperson Melanie Piana was on hand to judge the great cloth diaper change.
