Grant Early Childhood Center and Roosevelt Primary School students each took part in Peace Walk activities this past week, in celebration of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Roosevelt students ended their parade in an assembly

that included music led by music teacher Debbie Hillebrand and celebration of talent from students. The 23rd Annual Martin


Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration takes place at the Royal Oak Township Community Center on Saturday, Jan. 19 at 1 p.m., 21272 Mendota (at Cloverdale, just west of Wyoming), Ferndale.
