The Michigan Mobile Food Vendors Association (MMFVA) will bring Street Eats Wednesday to Ferndale tomorrow, Wednesday, March 21 from 4pm-9pm at the Rust Belt Market at the corner of Woodward Avenue and Nine Mile Road.

After two successful events in Royal Oak, the MMFVA is set to bring Street Eats Wednesday to Ferndale with seven participating food trucks set up along the ally outside of the Rust Belt Market. Seating for patrons will be available inside the market where participating Rust Belt vendors will be open for business allowing guests to dine and shop.

The event will feature a gathering of Metro Detroit’s finest food trucks including Chow Catering; El Guapo Grill; Frank’s Anatra; Jacque’s Tacos; Ned’s Travelburger; People’s Pierogi Collective and Treat Dreams.

This unique family event is a great way to enjoy delicious affordable food from Detroit’s best mobile vendors and raise money for local charities. Admission to Street Eats Wednesday events is free and tips from vendor sales will go to various local non-profit organizations.

Treat Dreams is located at 22965 Woodward Avenue in Ferndale, MI 48220. The micro-creamery is open 1 pm – 9 pm Monday – Thursday & Sunday, and 1 pm – 10 pm Friday & Saturday. The shop features 12-14 homemade ice cream flavors daily, (chosen from over 240 original flavors made to date) as well as sorbets, frozen yogurts, homemade vegan ice cream, ice cream cakes and pies, and assorted baked goods.
