Plumbing Issues Closes Ferndale Public Library, Reopening Tomorrow

(Crystal A. Proxmire, 12/15/2011)

The Ferndale Public Library is closed while a crew of workers makes repairs to the Library’s plumbing system. Library Director Kate Pohjola released the following statement “On Thursday, December 15, 2011, the Ferndale Public Library experienced a  plumbing leak which impacted use of the public restrooms, necessitating the closure of the library for the day.  Regular library hours will resume on Friday, December 16, 2011.”

A flood closed the Library down last year from Thanksgiving until February.  It is not known at this time if the two floods are related.  To read about last year’s flood, go to http://oaklandcounty115.com/2011/02/15/ferndale-library-to-reopen-monday/.
