Ferndale Public Schools is pleased to announce a Summer 2011 in-school food service program. Working with the USDA, United Way, and the Michigan Dept. of Education, Ferndale Public Schools will be providing every child 18 years and under, a free nutritious breakfast and lunch throughout the summer.
Every person 18 and under who comes to one of the locations (listed below) will be given a free breakfast and lunch every day. Everyone is eligible-there are no financial requirements or qualifications for children and their families.
Meals must be eaten on site. Youth groups, summer day care programs, neighborhood friends, are all welcome at any time. Meals are available to all children in the community, not just Ferndale Schools’ students.
