Doggie With Shaved Legs Found on Hazelhurst

Doggie With Shaved Legs Found on Hazelhurstmodern tax

(Crystal A. Proxmire, 5/10/2011)

On the evening of May 10, 2011 a dog was found lingering in the yard of 506 W. Hazelhurst. The family living there has been sitting outside with the dog, hoping that the owner will come along.

The large brown and black dog has a collar, but no tags.  And a patch of fur has been shaved off each of its front legs, possibly for a medical procedure.

The family called police, who provided them with the contact information for Oakland County Animal Control.  When they called the office was closed, so they will be keeping the dog at their home at 506 W. Maplehurst at least until tomorrow.  They’ve asked that the owner stop by if it is theirs.
