Pub Crawl Proceeds Put to Good Use

The totals are in from this year’s Pub Crawl, with $23,000 raised for charity at the signature annual Ferndale event. That tops 2009’s total of $20,000.   FernCare, The Ferndale Community Foundation and the Ferndale Police Auxiliary all received checks from the event at the Oct. 25, 2010 council meeting.

Twenty-two venues in a six block radius took part in the Crawl, which is run by volunteers who guide groups of drinkers around the city.  For more information about this Ferndale tradition, check out the official Pub Crawl website at
